Today’s Gift!!!! Whatever is worthy think on that!!

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right,whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable– if anyting is excellent or praiseworthy– think about such things. – Philippians 4:8

This last week gave me plenty of things to wrestle with.  I did not get to here from there without some worry thoughts, some douptful thoughts, some what if’s!  Thankfully I have decided LONG AGO,  some absolute truths for my life that are unbendable.  I have many unsure, wobbly  things like how many different diets I have been on, this carb or not that carb, I have tried different organizational methods, time saving techniques and such. All of which I vasicalte so fast that it looks like a spinning fan or a super fast roller coast ride BUT there are some hard and fast decisions that I made long ago that never change with the times. There is NEVER a time that this method of looking for the gift in EVERYTHING does not work. It will always work. Full Stop. Without fail.  I don’t care who you are it works.  BUT and this is a big but you have to accept it as truth.

Because I decided long ago to find the good in any situation that I go back to my truths. The verse above is in my top 5 verses that serve me for a peaceful life right next to Love One Another this one wins everytime.  I know that in the middle of ANYTHING and EVERYTHIING I can recite this verse and bring back my tuth.  I am so thankful that I know this and I have been able to use this verse and this truth.

Sometimes I have to say it over and over,  if doupt or fear tries to rob me of any moment that God graces me to be here on this planet.  When my sweet Hugh died, although quite sad and missing my best buddy I knew that to take one day for granted would be such a dishonor to him and all that we shared together. I am more aware of my health and each day and each person and each and every opportunity to make a difference.

I hope your day is lovely and if not please use my tried and true life hack, think on all the things that are wonderful. If you have time after that then I guess you could worry if you want to, but I chose hope, joy and faith.  I choose it becaues I have exercised those faith muscles and if I live long enough I will have many opportuities to do so.
